Despite the many problems of the national marketing, the opportunity to present and promote the region in such a major international forum was a great chance for tourism of the four municipalities.
Accent in the presentation of the region were the opportunities to practice alternative tourism – rural, adventure, ecological, cultural, hunting and fishing, and spa and wellness tourism. Promotional materials representing the area were met with great interest, especially multimedia CD containing interesting information about the region, tourist packages of 5 and 3 nights, maps of routes, photos of cultural and natural attractions of the four municipalities and advertising movie representing in completeness the uniqueness of the region.
